Healing and happiness are possible, even through the deepest of life's sorrows. In 1999 I created Gal In Sky Publishing and published When a Grandchild Dies:  What to Do, What to Say, How to Cope.  I wrote this book while experiencing my own "valley of the shadow," living with infertility that included two pregnancy deaths. 

If you have visited my site because of the death of a child or grandchild, know that you are not alone.  Many wonderful grandparents contributed to When a Grandchild Dies because they wanted to share their experiences with others.  Let their stories be the hugs and the hands reaching out to buoy you through your own pain.
