Nadine Galinsky Feldman

 ...Author, Editor, Publisher

Nadine Galinsky Feldman believes that adversity is a powerful, helpful teacher. Once a "writer who didn't write," her world crashed in 1996 when she developed Chronic Fatigue Syndrome. While recovering, she also had a miscarriage and a stillbirth in a nine-month period. Throughout this period of time, debts increased and her marriage fell apart, leaving her to wonder, "Is this ever going to end?"

Now healthy, strong, prosperous, and remarried, Nadine asserts that this time in her life was a pivotal one in which she gained powerful inner strength.

During her illness, Nadine was unable to write. She made a "bargain with God" that if her body healed, she would never again squander the gifts she had been given. Remaining true to her promise, she published When a Grandchild Dies in 1999. She also edited Joy-Full Holistic Remedies that same year. Since that time she has published several articles, and recently completed both Patchwork & Ornament by Jeanette Feldman and Blood and Loam, her first novel.

Nadine credits Julia Cameron's work The Artist's Way with helping her learn how to create.

She lives in Houston with her husband, Henry, and his children, Joe and Sarah. When not writing, Nadine travels the world and plans to write about these trips. She is also interested in organic gardening and learning French.
